This week’s program is dedicated to a major annual Frederick County event – The Great Frederick Fair! Fair staff and participants explain what it takes to prepare for the award winning fair and how it feels to be a part of a tradition that celebrates its 145th year this month!
We’ll check out the entertainment lineup for this year’s fair, meet the current Farm Family of the Year, and D.C. Rice and Lane Fields will debate another tradition, the closing of schools for Fair Day. We’ll explore ways to stay fit while at the fair, and check on who will be cooking for the fair.
In recognition of September 11, and what it has come to mean to Americans, this week’s “Frederick Moment” is dedicated to our own First Responders of Frederick County.
