This week we’re at the brand new Frederick News Post building on Ballinger Center Drive, the seventh location of the newspaper in its nearly 125 years of operation. We meet Paul Gilbert and Herbie his guide dog. We checked in with Lisa Coblentz, of Manpower, to learn what jobs are in demand in the Greater Frederick area. WFMD Bob Miller’s got a little barking to do this week over city and county plans for Dog Parks. We investigate residential solar energy with the Drennings of Woodsboro. George Wunderlich is a local expert on the banjo, he also makes, restores and plays the instrument. Places to Go and Things to Do tells you about the Annual Retro Prom, A Dueling Guitars Concert, and The Comedy Pigs live at the MET. Frederick teacher Abbe Harman teaches local students English as a second lahguage during the week and hangs out in another kind of school on the weekend. We learn about “still banks” from Bob Murray of Frederick City. Talkback answers the question; What are your plans for Spring?
