Frederick County has grown and changed throughout the years, but one thing has remained constant — folks like to have a good time. This week's Frederick 360 takes a look at two events that have a long local history — the Utica Picnic and the Great Frederick Fair. The Utica Picnic is a fundraiser for St. Paul's Lutheran Church and there are people who would never miss a year in Miller's Woods on the third Saturday of August, eating country ham and fried chicken. People also feel the same way about attending the Frederick Fair with its food, fun and educational displays. Also featured on the show is a visit with a long-time conductor on the MARC train and a look behind the scenes at Mount Olivet Cemetery, a place that not only represents the history of the country, but also Frederick County. The business segment of the show focuses on the ambitious expansion plans for McCutcheons along Carroll Creek. The apple business will be like a mini version of Baltimore's Harbor Place once it's finished. This week’s Celebrity Chef, Elizabeth Pakenas of Berkheimer Group at Smith Barney, shares her family recipe Before Breakfast with Christine Van Bloem.
